Each month, we will display photos of six cats with our cat furniture products. Any customer may enter his or her cat in the contest, and there are no entrance fees. To enter the contest, you need only meet the entry requirements, listed below.
For the first 28 days of each month, anyone who visits our website can vote for their favorite cat to win the "Kitty of the Month - Golden Kitty Award". The total number of votes entered and the percentages that each cat has will be updated automatically as votes are entered, and displayed in our "Current Nominees" section.
At the end of the voting period, the winner and runners-up will be announced. The grand prize is $100 worth of free cat furniture products! The winner and the runners-up of each monthly contest will also be featured in our "Previous Nominees" section. Each winner is honored with their very own "virtual" Golden Kitty Award, to commemorate their victory! For a list of all prizes, click "Awards & Prizes", above.
At the beginning of each year, the past year's "Kitty of the Month" winners (first place only) will be automatically entered in our annual "Kitty of the Year" contest. The grand prize of that contest is $200 worth of free cat furniture!

Special Note:
During the course of the year, if we do not receive enough contest entries to hold a "Kitty of the Month" contest for each of the twelve (12) calendar months, we will enter monthly "1st runners-up" for any missing month into the "Kitty of the Year" contest for that year, in order to have twelve (12) entries for the contest. These "1st runners-up" will be chosen according to the highest percentatges of votes that the cats received during the "Kitty of the Month" contest that they participated in. For example, a "1st runner-up" with a final percentage of votes of 30% would be chosen before a "1st runner-up" that received 29%.

Special Note: To ensure fairness to all contestants, each monthly contest will feature exactly six (6) cats. Each of the eligible entries will be entered in a future "Kitty of the Month" contest (not necessarily the following month), in the order that they are received. We will notify you by email when your cat will be entered in the contest and featured in the "Current Nominees" section.
In order to enter your cat in our "Golden Kitty Awards" contest, you must meet the following requirements:
- You must own one of our cat furniture products, and have a cat that you wish to enter.
- You may enter only one cat per entry, and you may enter only one time for each furniture
item that you purchase. If we allowed photos or entries of more than one cat, it would be unfair to others
who enter the contest who have only one cat. For this reason, if your photos show more than one cat,
they will not be accepted as a contest entry.
- You must send us at least six (6) photos of your cat, including four (4) "headshots" and two (2) "full
shots", showing your cat on the cat furniture purchased from our company. The "full shots" should show
our furniture product nearly in its entirety. All photos should show your cat in "cute" or amusing poses.
Good photos will increase your chances of winning. All photos must be in clear focus and must not show
products, logos, or artwork from other companies or individuals, due to international trademark and
copyright laws.
- You must fill out the contest entry form and photo release statement.
- Although not required, we would appreciate a brief letter summarizing what you and your cat(s) like best
about the cat furniture that you purchased from our company.

- Anyone may vote for his or her favorite cat to win as the "Kitty of the Month" or "Kitty of the Year"
(depending on which voting is in progress).
- You may cast only one vote. To cast your vote, click the "VOTE" button next to the cat that you wish to
vote for. To prevent voters from casting a second vote, the IP address of your computer is recorded
and blocked from voting a second time during that voting period. Therefore, in order to vote, you must
have "cookies turned on" in your browser.
- Voting will commence for 28 days. Results are updated automatically and displayed in the "Current
Nominees" section. There you will see the percentages of the votes that each cat has. At the end of the voting period the winner and runners-up will be announced on our
home page in the "Red Carpet" section.
- The winner and runners-up will then be eligible to receive their prizes (See "Awards & Prizes"), and will
the winner (1st place only) be automatically entered in the "Kitty of the Year" contest at the beginning of the following year. (see "Special Notes", above)
